Mindshare ranked #1 global agency network and media agency in 2018 Global Smarties Business Impact Index

Mindshare has been named the number one global agency network and the number one media agency for a second consecutive year in the MMA Smarties Business Impact Index.

The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) Smarties Business Impact Index awards top agencies, marketers, brands and technology providers delivering the highest level of business impact through mobile-first campaigns. Mindshare was ranked #1 in both the 2018 Global Smarties Business Impact Index for Agency Networks and the 2018 Global Smarties Business Impact Index for Media Agencies.

Mindshare topped the Global Media Agency ranking table with 1623.5 (361.8 points higher than last year) with PHD Worldwide taking the second spot with 369.1 points and GroupM sister agency Mediacom rounding up the top 3 with 293.7 points. We also topped the Global Agency Network ranking table with 1623.5 points, beating PHD Worldwide (369.1 points) and IPG Mediabrands (306.3 points).

What’s more is that there’s also the North America Business Impact Index, where Mindshare U.S. ranked at #2 for both the Media Agencies and Agency Networks categories. And, Mindshare Canada took #3 in the Media Agency rankings, as the only Canadian agency to rank.

In addition: Mindshare Turkey was ranked #1 Media Agency in EMEA Media Agency, with Mindshare South Africa at #2, Mindshare Spain at #4 and Mindshare UAE ranking at #8, taking 4 of the top 10 spots in the EMEA rankings.

Unilever topped the global advertiser table for the second year in a row ahead of PepsiCo and McDonalds.

The MMA Smarties Business Index is calculated with WARC by using finalist and winner data from the previous year’s regional and global SMARTIES Awards.
