Mindshare Canada, the global media agency network that’s part of WPP, today announced that Sarah Thompson joins the agency leadership team as Chief Strategy Officer. As CSO, Thompson is responsible for setting the strategic roadmap for the agency and leads planning across all clients. Thompson succeeds and reports to Devon MacDonald, who was elevated to Chief Executive Officer.
“The perfect mix of an agency is one that strives to know people at their core, takes bold action on the data, and infuses creativity into media planning. Mindshare is that agency,” Thompson said. “I have long admired the team, their client work, the breadth of clients and the partnerships Mindshare develops. Moreover, I’m excited to work with Devon and the team to continue to build for the future and work to solve business challenges for our clients.”
“As we continue to evolve the agency, it is critical for us to bring in the right talent who will have a positive impact on our trajectory,” MacDonald said. “Sarah has an incredible mix of creative, technology and media expertise all rooted in strategic insight. This combination will inspire teams and result in media programs that result in outcomes for our clients. I am thrilled that she is joining our agency.”
