Congratulations to Mindshare’s Brian DeCicco, Executive Director, FAST Lead, North America—he’s been named one of The Internationalist’s Agency Innovators for his future-forward work and tremendous leadership.

As The Internationalist puts it, “This year’s INNOVATORS are transforming our concepts of a contemporary advertising business. This extraordinary group of individuals from all corners of the globe are embracing change and making a difference for their organizations and for their clients.”

Throughout his career, Brian’s work has taken him across the globe, from New York to London, Frankfurt to Singapore, Hong Kong to Miami, and more. At the end of 2016, he launched FAST for Mindshare across North America. FAST (which stands for Future Adaptive Specialist Team) is the agency’s integrated performance marketing hub, connecting audience-first planning, data strategy, and integrated biddable media for clients.

In doing so, the FAST approach tackles an all-too-common business challenge for brands. It delivers agile and relevant media executions so that marketers can have the ability to focus on both short-term sales goals and long-term brand building at the same time. And as part of that, Brian and his team have developed and deployed a number of bespoke products, including a granular Amazon budget planning tool, an audience-first planning model, a near real-time performance forecasting tool for DTC eCommerce advertisers, an dmore.

Brian’s win comes on the heels of numerous other awards for Mindshare over the past couple months, including wins at the Festival of Media North America Awards and The Drum’s Digital Trading Awards USA (including the Grand Prix), as well as accolades for She Runs It’s Working Mothers of the Year (for Laura Powers, Managing Director, Client Leadership) and Business Insider’s Rising Stars of Madison Avenue (for Rachel Lowenstein, Partner, Associate Director, Invention+). In addition, the agency just this week brought on Shane McAndrew as the Chief Data Strategy Officer in the U.S., to further marry the creativity of communications planning with the science of data and analytics, working to deliver best-in-class integrated brand and performance services across clients.
