Two weeks in NYC is any girls dream right?! I have been fortunate to have travelled to New York before, in fact this is my fourth trip here. Each time I come here I fall in love with the city a little bit more.
What has been the highlight of your time in NYC?
My highlight so far has been going to see Lorde at the Hudson River Park on Sunday night; what an amazing venue. But having said that, as a die-hard “Friends” fan I am planning on going to the Central Perk pop up and I hear Gunther is handing out coffee….so that might swing it.
How is Mindshare NYC different than Mindshare London?
In terms of Mindshare life, the NYC offices are incredibly different to our London offices, the most notable difference being the cubicles. I have heard that you will be moving to an open plan office which I definitely think has its advantages. I promise that a few months after the transition you will all prefer the new layout. Adapting to change takes time…and nobody likes it.
What’s your favorite part about Mindshare NYC?
The teams have all been incredibly welcoming – in particular I am going to give a shout out to the Bacardi DIG team. In my opinion, one of the most exciting parts of Mindshare NYC (and something we don’t have in the London office) is the Entertainment division. I am particularly fascinated by the ways in which the lines between creative and media agencies are blurring, and the work they have produced is incredible!
Thank you so much to Margaret Clerkin and Jason Malby for hosting us and to all the lovely people we met whilst we were here, if any one of you come to London, I’ll be happy to show you around Mindshare London HQ.
