Congratulations to Mindshare’s Laura Powers, Managing Director, Client Leadership – she’s been named one of She Runs It’s Working Mothers of the Year! This prestigious award honors some of the most accomplished women across media, marketing, and tech. As She Runs It puts it, they’re “…working mothers in the industry who have succeeded in both balancing work and family, serve as positive role models and mentors, and distinguish themselves in their communities.”
Laura is the mother of two boys (Jack, age two, and Ryan, eight months old), and has served as a role model, mentor, and inspiration to numerous working mothers. As a boss and a leader, she sets the tone for her team and shows them how they too can balance their family lives with work. And she takes it upon herself to guide the new and expecting mothers that she works with. From the basics of what to buy, to practical insights around how to balance work and family, and what to ask for at work, she’s the boss and mentor that working mothers everywhere deserve to have.
Laura will be honored alongside others winners across media, marketing, and technology at an awards ceremony in February. Her wins follows a number of accolades for other leaders at Mindshare over the last few months, including The Drum’s 50 Under 30, The Edgie Awards (with a special award for community service), the Snapchat Star Awards, Cynopsis Media’s Digital “It List” and more.
And for our client work, in just the last six weeks, Mindshare won at the Festival of Media North America Awards, the Canadian Marketing Association Awards (13 wins, including eight Golds), The Drum’s Digital Trading Awards USA (including the Grand Prix!), MediaPost’s Digital OOH Awards, and more.
