Congratulations to Amanda Mayfield, Director, Search Marketing, Mindshare North America – she was recently honored as a recipient of the Michael Kirchhoff Technical SEO Award at The Edgie Awards, organized by BrightEdge.
This particular, inaugural award was created to honor SEO leaders who not only demonstrate passion and dedication to their SEO work, but also give back to their communities. It’s named after BrightEdge leader Michael Kirchhoff, who unexpectedly passed away earlier this year.
Amanda won the award in the Agency category. She was recognized for her work with ‘Team Bright Side,’ a non-for-profit triathlon training team dedicated to creating awareness and raising money for pediatric cancer. Since 2013, Team Bright Side has raised over $1,000,000 and has trained over 400 triathletes (ranging from first-timers to seasoned triathletes).
At Mindshare, Amanda works on the award-winning search group for Kimberly-Clark, leading teams and driving technical SEO strategies across their portfolio of brands, including but not limited to Huggies, Kleenex, Kotex, and more. Prior to her time at Mindshare, she worked with other clients such as Marriott, Hyatt, and more.
