I’m incredibly excited to be a part of the Mindshare Young Lions group attending Cannes this year!
While there are a plethora of great speakers and topics at the festival, I’m most interested in learning more about emerging technologies. Some of the topics I’ll be attending center around artificial intelligence and how we will increasingly need to be co-dependent with it in work and in life; but equally important is the ethics of AI and how we can use and develop the technology responsibly. Another area of focus for me during this trip is blockchain technology—something that I believe will fundamentally revolutionize advertising (and the world at large).
I’m a bit of a futurist so I think there’s an incredible opportunity to get a step up on the competition by learning about, and adopting, the emerging technologies coming down the pipeline. Working in digital investments on Ford Canada, it’s my responsibility to bring innovation to the table. I can’t wait to see what’s around the corner in ad tech to help transform one of the oldest and most iconic automotive companies into a company of the future!
