The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and we’re ready to take on day five of SXSWi! Here’s what we’ve got on tap for today:
Redefining Ad Tech in a Distributed World
9:30am-10:30am, Hyatt Regency Austin, Zilker Ballroom 3-4
This session will examine why publishers must work together with platforms in order to reach consumers across the web while overcoming the perils of online advertising, such as ad blocking and viewability issues.
The Last Frontier: $73 Billion Land Grab
12:30pm-1:30pm, Hyatt Regency Austin, Zilker Ballroom 2
With addressable tech already in millions of TVs around the world, explore the future of TV advertising and the data that will drive decision-making in order to make addressable TV a true reality.
@FuckJerry and The Business of Hilarious Content
3:30-4:30pm, Austin Convention Center, Ballroom EFG
Hear from Instagram’s funniest about how they’ve reached the top of the platform, maximizing their reach against the 500 million active Instagram users and cutting through the clutter of 52 million pieces of content uploaded daily. (Do we think they’ll take a selfie with me and follow back? Only time will tell).
I’m also hoping to attend The Mummy Zero Gravity VR Experience presented by IMAX (Austin Convention Center Ballroom B). Apparently, you get to go behind the scenes and experience an extreme stunt using VR technology, and I’m all about adventure without the real risk.
Now I’ve got to stop writing and get going on my day. Austin awaits!
